Stranger Things is an American Sci-fi Drama Horror web series created by the Duffer Brothers. Set in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana, the first season focuses on the disappearance of a young boy amidst strange and supernatural happenings within the town. Our all-star cast of youngsters must band together in hopes of saving their friend as things progressively become more bizarre. The series serves as a love letter to 80s pop culture and features all the fashion references you’d expect: an abundance of floral shirts, ray-bans and a whole lot of denim on denim. And if that didn’t sell it to you it also boasts one of the best 80s soundtracks going featuring classics like Toto – Africa and Every Breath You Take – The Police. A must watch for anyone after a nostalgic trip down memory lane.

With the 80’s theme and a host of bright colourways and bold patterns, we have picked out some of our favourite 80’s inspired pieces.

One for people with more of a morbid curiosity, Mindhunter is based on the 1996 book Mind Hunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit by former special agent John Douglas. Season one begins in 1977 in the early days of criminal psychology and profiling. It focuses on two agents characterised by their FBI approved sharp suit and shirt combos, who develop an innovative field testing program to reveal each killer’s motives and understand their mindsets. Based on real-life crimes and killers, Mindhunter doesn’t give you much to smile about but will have you hooked from the get-go with fantastic plot twists and turns along the way.

Taking inspiration from those suit clad FBI agents we have put some of our favourite formal pieces for you to check out below.

The funniest sitcom you’ve probably not seen , Schitt’s Creek follows the story of the wealthy Rose family who lose their huge fortune after being defrauded by their business manager. Soon after they are forced to rebuild their lives with the remaining sole asset: a run-down town named Schitt’s Creek which they bought for their son as a joke birthday gift. With American Pie famed alumni Eugene Levy at the helm, the show delivers a ‘fish out of water’ comedy style with continual gags and hysterical moments. With 6 seasons completed there’s enough there to keep you laughing for a while.

With a nod to a life of luxury we thought we would pool together some of our favourite pieces from a few of our more luxury brands.

Condensed into six, easily bingeable half-hour episodes, After Life is a tear-jerking dark comedy. It tells the story of a bitter man, hardened by the tragic death of his wife that continues lashes out at the world in an attempt to find happiness in his new circumstances. While that doesn’t sound too jolly or appealing, at the helm of the show is British legend Ricky Gervais providing all the dry and dark humour he can muster making the show a hilarious but thought-provoking experience for the viewer. With season 2 due to come out on the 24thof April, you’ve got some time to get this one started.

Going through this type of grief leaves you not bothering with the everyday stuff so we have pulled some of our essential pieces that wouldn’t need a second thought when thrown on.

From there he’s tasked to pay off his substantial debt to a Mexican drug lord to keep his family safe. A thrilling watch with twists and turns all the way and with season 3 premiering on March 27th a brand new chapter to get into.

With the setting being rural America we have picked out some of the best old school American workwear.

The series follows Frank Castle, played by The Walking Dead alumni Jon Bernthal, a vigilante crime fighter known as the “The Punisher” characterised by the skull logo emblazoned on his body armor. While exacting revenge on those that killed his family, Castle uncovers a deeper conspiracy beyond what involved his kin and delves deeper to seek the truth.
