A trip to Monte Carlo

Monte Carlo is situated at the base of the Maritime Alps along the French Riviera and is part of the extremely exclusive principality of Monaco. Covering just 200 hectares Monaco is the worlds second smallest country but what it lacks in size it makes up for in sheer attitude.

Monte Carlo is home to the world famous Monte Carlo Casino which is situated on the route of the Monaco Grand Prix this exclusive resort has also been featured in a number of films including not one, but two James Bond movies, Never Say Never Again and Goldeneye.

To say it’s a cool place to visit is an understatement, if it’s good enough for Bond it’s good enough for us!

What to pack

Style in Monaco is, like the principality itself, effortlessly cool. From now until the end of the summer the temperatures continue to climb so dressing well is a must. Combining a great fitting pair of chinos with a causal shirt or smarter a polo will ensure you look smart whilst remaining cool. Take a look at brands like Paul Smith, Hugo Boss and Orlebar Brown.

Loafers and boat shoes are the go-to footwear of choice and we have some great options from the likes of Lacoste and Boss. Last but not least a good pair of sunglasses are also a must have for any trip over to Monaco.

  • Hi. Just seen your email on what to wear in Monaco .
This is a great idea for people traveling to different places and not sure on what up to date clothing to wear.
Is there anything where you could put a location in and it comes up with the best clothes to wear for that time of year.
