We wanted to take a look back at the Pitti Uomo 89 designer project with adidas Originals by White Mountaineering. Yosuke Aizawa is a fast rising Japanese designer who’s own brand White mountaineering has soared into the limelight and even collaborated with the likes of Barbour in 2014. The brand stands for One, design. Two,utility. Three, technology. and is focussed on the outdoor apparel. The preview for this collection was displayed in an imaginative energy that captured the whole aesthetic of combining the three elements that make up White Mountaineering’s DNA whilst mirroring the classic sportswear silhouettes from adidas Originals with added contemporary design elements.
This season Woodhouse is expecting adidas Originals AW to be a range of re-issues that reflect all the retro vibes to continue into new textures such as a velour tracksuit and knitted superstars to add something a little extra to the collection. The influence of the Yeezy style and colour palette will also be present with the Equipment Support Boost sneakers but with a smaller price tag!
