We were lucky enough to take a tour around the iconic Barbour factory in South Shields.
Barbour have been producing their legendary wax jackets at their South Shields home since 1957 and continue to do so to this day. Around 3000 classic jackets are made at the factory per week, taking 36 people in total to make a single jacket.
