His first proper introduction to the fashion industry came when he created his own t-shirt collection in the early 1970’s. Things really changed when he became a majority shareholder in C.P Company and his penchant for outerwear design really began to shine through. Boneville was Osti’s second foray into the industry, started very simply because he had too many ideas for just C.P. alone.
Boneville launched in 1981 but unfortunately ceased trading in 1993. The brand has since been reborn after serial entrepreneur and avid Osti fan John Sharp acquired it in 2012. Sharp has since built a team he feels is capable of continuing the Osti heritage and returning Boneville to its former glory.
A key piece for Autumn/Winter is the Co-Pilot Jacket which is constructed from garment dyed parachute silk and takes its inspiration from early Osti designs.
