Baracuta began in 1937 when they opened their factory in Manchester. The G9 is the jewel in the brands crown and has been worn by some of the coolest people of all time; Elvis Presley, Steve McQueen, Frank Sinatra and The Clash to name just a few.

The jacket went on to be adopted by a number of subcultures including the Mod, Punk and Ska scene’s whilst also being worn for high profile sports events across the globe.

The jacket itself remains pretty much identical to the original design and is still manufactured in Manchester. Constructed from a water-repellent fabric it features a stand up collar, umbrella vent to the back and iconic Fraser-Tartan lining. The G9 is famed for its functionality, simple style and complete versatility, treading the line between formal and causal perfectly.
