Nudie are back with a bang this season presenting a spring collection that takes its influence from the iconic teenage resistance of 50’s movie legends James Dean and Marlon Brando. The characters portrayed by Brando and Dean around this time were viewed as a threat to society, clad in denim and plain t-shirts they were deemed lonely and rebellious but little did society know that these garments were set to become the go to uniform of generations to come.
The Nudie S/S’15 collection is a homage to the rebels of both today and yesterday. We see staple garments like classic tees reimagined in a slightly wider fit with a range of sweats and new jackets which vary from denim to one of our favourites this season, the Brook Reversible varsity jacket. There have also been additions to the ever growing denim with new slimmer fits offered in selvedge options.
This season sees Nudie, one again, create a collection that tells a story using quality fabrics and lasting design.
