Twice a year the menswear world descends on the beautiful streets of Florence to attend one of the most prestigious trade shows around… Pitt Uomo.

This gives the brands a chance to showcase their wares for the coming seasons and the stores to pick out key items and tends. It’s also a great place to see what everyone in the industry is wearing and the trends that have made the biggest impact.

This year saw a move away from traditional suiting and a more directional take on tailored sportswear and unusual fabrics. Stone Island appeared to be the brand of choice along with Adidas Originals Stan Smiths being the go to trainer.

As far as brands go the Pretty Green collection looked strong with a heavy emphasis on their favoured paisley prints and a concentration on a directional Northern Soul theme while brands like Baracuta and Woolrich won the battle of the outerwear.
