To keep you ahead of the game for when the sun eventually decides to show its face this Spring, we bring you our fresh colour fashion trends for SS13. We’ve got hot seasonal brights contrasting against muted pastels to give you a truly balanced wardrobe, ready to hit the warmer months with style.

This season more than ever, we see a shift towards a more versatile colour palette, with bold colours (even neons, yes – neons) taking a lead from the rustic colours that have dominated our Autumn Winter ’12 wardrobes. Shaking off the cold we bring you the likes of hot red, golden yellow, sunset orange right through to minted green, olive, cerulean blue and midnight inks, a colour for every time of day, or night for that matter.

With the eternal optimism of the temperature rising, we see the classic brands bringing us their very finest, not only that, but other labels are now following suit. The likes of Stone Island and CP Company showcase their failsafe collections of colourful outerwear, with a more lightweight alternative for the warmer months. New Balance are hot on the heels of this bold colour trend too, but then again, they always have been known for their striking and impacting colour combinations. Fred Perry brings us choice by the shed load, with a huge array of colourful polos for the new season, complete with featured embroidery and prints.

What we also like to see is some of the safer brands now taking risks and having fun with this trend. Boss strike in with statement primaries, with Penguin & Hackett following suit. Diesel are not strangers to bright displays of colour, or pattern for that matter, their Spring lines do not disappoint. With various platforms of camo-inspired print appearing across many of their key items and their use of eye-catching blues and greens and you’ve got another winning combo. Making a big break through this year off the back of a hugely successful AW12 are Blood Brother. Never shy of making a statement, they swing in this season with flourescent yellows, greens, brassy prints and cut combos.

This Spring, have a bit of fun with your wardrobe, mix it up a bit and experiment with your clothes, be bold and confident and step out in a colour that makes you stand out.
