This documentary film entwines stunning and newly discovered footage of the private recordings with McQueen’s original interviews to reveal how this cinema legend’s infamous troubled production was plagued with financial troubles, on-set rivalries and the star’s own personal issues, which will in turn reveal the true story of how, on the brink of losing everything, his passion and obsession will drive him to risk everything in the pursuit of his dream.
