New to Woodhouse this season, Tommy Hilfiger has become a staple of the American fashion industry.
The brand began in 1985 and exploded to instant popularity following their “fill in the gaps” advertising campaign which was shown on a giant billboard in Times Square. Rumour has it that Tommy was initially very uncomfortable about this campaign, viewing the other brands as his heroes… needless to say these feelings soon vanished when the ad became an overnight success with dozens of TV shows and magazines all vying to get an interview with the now infamous Tommy Hilfiger.
29 years on and the brand continues to grow, supplying to over 90 countries world wide. The Autumn/Winter collection is solid featuring some great essential items such as the Slim Fit Pique Polo’s and New York Fit Oxford Shirt’s.
