Having started in 1860, Sunspel have a rich heritage in British fashion. Making their name through their innovative underwear, they were the first brand to bring boxer shorts to the UK, they have developed a modern day collection to fit in with the everyday man. You may well have seen Sunspel on the big screen with the brand dressing, Daniel Craig in Casino Royale. Have a look at the Riviera Polo Shirt as the stand out piece, this was redesigned especially for 007.
London-based Albam has been quietly going about its business of making outstanding, stripped-back garments for 10 years. Their approach to design is utilitarian and focuses on high-quality construction and subtle, below-the-radar interpretations of classic menswear pieces. Each pared-down piece from Albam does nothing but function silently and immaculately and the brand is an absolute must for those of the minimalist persuasion. Rather than reinvent the wheel each season, Albam takes a classic piece of clothing, removes all the fiddly bits and then play with the cut, colour and texture. This results in some of the cleanest design on the market.
British brand Folk have made a name for themselves through the considered details and high-quality fabrics of their collections. Often innovative and always minimalist, this understated label has been something of a Woodhouse favourite for a while now. We love the quirky designs coupled with stand out colourways. They also do a mean sock!
